Sport:
Defend your base and get a teammate into the other base's winning box over the door.
Similar to CTF, but only 1 'capture' is needed to win.
Above the entrence to each base is a winning box.
If a hover gets inside that box, then that base loses, respectivly.
The only way to get inside your enemy's winning box is to penitrate his base.
This is a very team oriented map complete with mines and speed bosters to up the stakes.
Full 3D playing field in the section between bases with steps and walls for attack and defense reasons.
There is no offical 'FINISH' announcement when a team wins which is why the winning boxes are raised for all to see when the game is over.
It is vital to have defenders on your team or your base will likely be seized faster than you expect.

I like the idea; I really do.
The design of the map (as far as sticky walls, architecture, track width, and navigability) is great. No problems getting around.
However, I wasn't able to test it with other people. I think it might either be a great game or a really fast and kinda boring one. With the cans at each base, it could be trivially easy to smash defenders out of the way and get to the base. Or, it could be hard. Can't really tell.
The mines in the winning box are probably a little more than unnecessary. They were pretty annoying when I fell into it (mines make noise and a lot of it too).
Overall a great idea and I'd like to play at this track sometime. |
